Vista - where's the file?

Got the question tonight: MrOP created the pool file and it says it's in C:\Program Files\MrOP...but it's not there. Where is it?

 Answer:

Vista keeps the files seperate folder to stop a "bad program" from doing something to screw up your computer. The file will be in the folder: C:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\MrOP

but the "AppData" folder is hidden so you have to set the folder option to view hidden folder/settings in order to see it.

You can also try doing a search for the file:
Click the Vista Globe and type in Pool1.htm (or whatever the pool file name is) and then click "Search Everywhere" - it should give you the file at the top and you can right click it and select "Open File Location"

The other option that will work is after MrOP opens the HTM page in the browser, right click and select "View Source" which will open the file in a text editor, then just save from there - giving a name like "Pool1.htm".
